Photo of the Week: Lions in Thailand Plant Trees to Protect Our Environment

June 6, 2011

In honor of World Environment Day, we wanted to feature a photo of a project that’s very popular with our members – tree planting. We received this photo from Rossukhon Chompoorat of the Chiangmai Wiangping Lions Club via our Submit a Photo page.

Chiangmai Wiangping Lions Club

The club recently took part in a project to promote the importance of tree planting. This photo shows club members planting trees at the King Kawila Monument in Chiangmai, Thailand.

Has your club done an environmental project? Leave a comment to let us know about it.

How nice to see somebody caring about nature. Here in Curitiba, I and my students planted some trees on May 20, in a global project. Our club is Lions Club Curitiba Guaira.
    All the best!!!!
