Photo of the Week: Aberdeen Lions Club Takes Part in National Memorial Day Parade

June 1, 2011

On Monday, many of our clubs in the U.S. celebrated Memorial Day – a day to remember those who lost their lives in military service. We found this week’s photo at The Aberdeen Patch.

Aberdeen Lions Club Marches in National Memorial Day Parade

This photo shows a member of the Aberdeen Lions Club marching in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. More than 100 Lions club members from Maryland, Washington and Virginia took part in this year’s event.

If your club performed a service project or took part in an event to mark Memorial Day, please leave a comment to let us know about it.

A local Lions club in or near your community may sponsor a program that provides assistance for the purchase of eyeglasses.

To find a Lions club near you, please use our Club Locator at (Clubs are generally named for the community in which they serve).

    Thanks for your comment.

I checked our Club Locator, and unfortunately the Waldron Lions Club in Michigan is no longer an active club so we don’t have any contact information.

I am looking to contact anyone from the Waldron Lions Club of Michigan.
