Photo of the Week: Lions Club’s Haunted House Scares Up $1.6 Million for Charity
Every year around Halloween, the Broadview Heights Lions Club operates its biggest fund-raiser – the Bloodview Haunted House. This very scary event takes a lot of work – around 20 Lions volunteers and more than 40 costumed actors put on the show every night.
This photo shows one of the actors getting ready to terrify attendees – who pay $15 to walk through the house – and scare up funds for a good cause. During the past 30 years, the Bloodview Haunted House has raised $1.6 for charities, including the Federation of the Blind and Pilot Dogs.
